Kegiatan yang dibalut dalam Rapat Kerja Teknis di Kantor Bawaslu Lingga, selasa (14/07/2020) tersebut menitik-beratkan pada permasalahan keterbatasan jumlah pengawas yang tidak berimbang dengan banyaknya petugas PPDP.

"Pelaksanaan Pengawasan Coklit ini nantinya lebih banyak diperankan oleh Pengawas tingkat desa (PKD). Sementara jumlah jajaran kami hanya 82 orang atau satu pengawas di tiap satu desa," kata Koordiv Pengawasan Bawaslu Lingga Ardhi Auliya, di sela kegiatan Rakernis tersebut.

Berdasarkkan informasi dari KPU Lingga, Ardhi menjelaskan, PPDP yang akan bertugas mencoklit sebanyak 242 orang. Jumlah tersebut tentu tidak berimbang jika Bawaslu menggunakan strategi pengawasan melekat seperti biasanya.

"Jadi memang kita harus membuat strategi lain dalam mengefektifkan kerja pengawasan agar mendapat hasil yang maksimal. Strategi yang di buat juga perlu memperhatikan aspek-aspek pendukung di masing-masing wilayah kerja Panwascam," tuturnya.

Dia berharap strategi yang telah dipetakan bersama Panwascam tersebut dapat menjadi solusi keterbatasan sumberdaya yang dimiliki Bawaslu saat ini.

"Pada intinya Pengawas kita dilapangan harus berperan sebagai pelindung hak pilih masyarakat Lingga dalam hal tahapan pendataan pemilih ini," tutupnya. (Hms)
